Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Besitzerin und Haushälterin waren sehr liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viele Tipps und Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Ausflugsziele in der Nähe bekommen. Uns wurde sogar ein Kochkurs angeboten, den wir natürlich wahrgenommen haben. Alles in allem, der perfekte Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub in der Toskana!
Einziges Manko: Die Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist nicht asphaltiert und dadurch schwer zu befahren.

“Une adresse magnifique hors du temps au cœur de la campagne toscane”

La propriété est située au calme, au cœur de la campagne toscane. C’est un havre de repos et de bien-être pour qui cherche à se ressourcer au vert à proximité immédiate de Sienne. La chambre rose est parfaitement équipée avec une vue dégagée sur le jardin et les collines verdoyantes. Les espaces de vie commune sont très cosy, très grands et très bien équipés. Le personnel est aux petits soins et le petit-déjeuner, fait maison, est à la hauteur du standing de l’adresse. Le dîner fait maison est également excellent et d’un bon rapport qualité/prix.
Nous avons eu des difficultés pour accéder à cet établissement avec le petit gabarit de notre voiture de location (Fiat 500). Le chemin d’accès d’1,9km depuis la route goudronnée n’est pas en bon état et n’est praticable avec ce type de véhicule bas qu’à très faible vitesse. Attention au GPS (application Waze) qui a tenté de nous faire passer par des chemins de forêt impraticables.

agriturismo molto bello, curato nei minimi particolari ma nello stesso tempo autentico e selvaggio,. Camera suggestiva con il letto a baldacchino e con le finestre sulla campagna senese. Proprietaria di nome Orsa gentilissima e desiderosa di accontentarci al 100 per 100.. Un vero paradiso
la strada per raggiungere l'agriturismo è molto disagiata 1,7 km di strada sterrata che mette alla prova la tua auto... comunque basta andare piano e diventa piacevole dandoti l'impressione di andare fuori dal mondo in mezzo alla natura...

Voortreffelijk ontbijt. Diner op aanvraag was zeker ook zeer goed. Onthaal en personeel was heel vriendelijk. De hond was overal welkom. De afgesloten tuin was zeker een pluspunt als je je hond vrij wil laten snuffelen. Een aanrader voor wie van rust en schoonheid houdt!
De toegangsweg (onverhard) in handen van de gemeente mag zeker opnieuw onderhouden worden .

Zeer mooi en rustig gelegen domein, zeer grote kamers, gigantisch bed, mooie badkamer (roze kamer). De keuken waar je zelf kan koken is prima ingericht. Zeer stille kamers! Wij reisden met een baby en hadden schrik dat we de mensen in de kamer naast ons zouden storen, maar zij hadden ook een baby en die hebben we totaal niet gehoord 's nachts. We waren jammer genoeg net buiten het zwemseizoen (nog iets te koud om te zwemmen), dus we hebben niet kunnen profiteren van het zwembad. Het ontbijt is dik in orde, en ook het avondeten (primi piatti, secundi et dessert + water en wijjn) is zeer lekker en prima prijs/kwaliteit. De staf is enorm behulpzaam en oprecht vriendelijk. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de regio afgewisseld met een rustdag. Een pareltje in Toscane, wij komen zeker terug!

Il Borgo è assolutamente incantevole e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Il gusto negli arredi, lo spazio a disposizione anche nelle aree comuni, la pulizia, la piscina e le fantastiche colazioni non lasciano spazio a critiche. Il contesto è tra i più belli che mi sia mai capitato di vivere e la possibilità di usufruire delle ricette preparate da Orsa, cuoca davvero eccezionale, hanno fatto dell'esperienza un momento indimenticabile. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie a tutto lo staff !
La connessione internet ha dato parecchi problemi e ho dovuto lavorare con la connessione del telefono per l'intera permanenza. Sicuramente è un aspetto da migliorare non solo per chi viene a lavorare (dato che il posto in sè è perfetto anche per questa esigenza) ma anche per chi intende godersi un film in stanza sul computer, ad esempio.

“Un meraviglioso rifugio dalla vita di tutti i giorni: eccezionale”

La struttura si raggiunge dopo una stradina sterrata: questo elemento - che apparentemente potrebbe disturbare qualcuno (anche se è una strada che si percorre senza problemi) - è in realtà uno dei punti chiave della collocazione del Borgo, perchè consente di separarsi da tutto il resto ed immergersi totalmente in una Toscana straordinaria, fatta di paesaggi da sogno, di quiete, di sole, di piccoli borghi appartati in cima alle colline. L'appartamento - noi soggiornavamo in quello denominato ''La Corte'' - è formidabile, poichè si articola in tre unità separate, una con soggiorno e camera da letto e bagno, una con cucina attrezzata e un'altra ancora con un altro letto, soggiorno ed altro bagno, tutte che si affacciano sul cortile in cui si può mangiare, chiacchierare, giocare a carte, riposarsi, leggere. La situazione è assolutamente perfetta, sia per stare insieme, sia per dividersi quando c'è chi vuole riposare e chi, invece, vuole fare dell'altro. Le proprietarie estremamente cortesi e disponibili, gestiscono la struttura con assoluta naturalezza e simpatia, consigliando visite ed escursioni. In prossimità, con 5/10 minuti di macchina, ci sono (almeno) 2 posti dove si mangia benissimo e c'è una favolosa macelleria con produzione propria dove è possibile trovare i salumi e la carne locale, ma anche il pecorino (per quest'ultimo, peraltro, seguendo le indicazioni della proprietaria, abbiamo trovato un mercatino a Siena con prodotti davvero notevoli). Al mattino, poi, una colazione ricca e fatta di cose semplici, ma buonissime, consente di iniziare al meglio la giornata. E quando ci si vuole semplicemente riposare, un tuffo in piscina e via. Poi, ci sono a portata di mano Siena e la Toscana: ma su questo, non è necessario dir nulla. Abbiamo trovato una struttura davvero straordinaria in tutti i sensi, sia per la qualità del nostro soggiorno, sia per il suo essere davvero, e splendidamente, ''fuori dal comune''.

The tower house unfortunately doesn't have a room directly opening up to the garden (you arrive there via stairs to cellar), distance to Siena was longer than expected (not by km but time-wise - also because of the long sandy road leading to the house)

The owner of this property made our stay a perfect vacation. She provided us with terrific service, including a marvelous cooking lesson and delicious dinner. The staff was very helpful and courteous to all i our group and made us all feel welcome. This is a place I will look forward to returning to again and will recommend it to all of my friends.

This is a wonderful place, with a lot of character, peace and quiet where you can really fell on holidays. Our appartment was very well designed, decorated and maintained. Orsa and Fiore are fantastic hosts and make you fell really welcome with special attentions. For gastronomy oriented people you can have an amazing time with Orsa's cooking lessons and the delicious home made dinners. I think you need to stay for a few days at least to truly enjoy it.
Yes, the road everybody complains about is actually full of potholes, but we got used to it quite quickly and after 2-3 days we didn't even think about it. The village of Sovicille lacks a bit of local life (cafés, restaurants) so you have to drive around to find nice restaurants (and there are). There are good food shopping options though. Some guests were a bit loud when using the swimming pool, staying the whole afternoon there which is not very inviting to other guests...

L'accueil et les petits plats d'Orsa, sa convivialité, la grande chambre et son confort, le soleil dans la douche le matin avec la vue sur la campagne, la belle et plutôt grande piscine, les fruits et légumes du jardin, l'environnement très dépaysant.
Je conseille cet endroit à tout le monde ! En ce qui nous concerne, nous y retournerons très certainement.

A Sovicille 1674, vous trouverez le calme, une vue exceptionnelle sur le lever du jour et vous vous régalerez des repas préparés par Orsa. S’il fait beau, le jardin et la piscine sont parfaits pour se détendre, si le temps n’est pas terrible le grand salon est très confortable pour y lire, regarder la télévision ou écouter de la musique.
Le chemin carrossable d’1,5km pour y accéder secoue pas mal et ne permet pas de partir directement à vélo pour une balade (hormis en VTT).

Très beau cadre au milieu de la campagne, des vignes et des oliviers . Excellent accueil. Très proche de Sienne. Maison aménagée avec goût et très spacieuse. Calme absolu. Très jolie piscine.
Prévoir peut être un peu plus d'ustensiles pour la cuisine (égouttoir pour les pâtes, une seconde poêle). Mais notre séjour à été excellent.

gab es nicht
in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele, insbesondere mittelalterliche Städte und Dörfer, sowie diverse Weingüter. Unser Highlight: Volterra. Am besten verbringt man hier die Vormittage im Pool und begibt sich erst ab nachmittags zu Ausflügen. Im Sommer sind dann die Temeperaturen erträglicher und alles läuft etwas gemächlicher!

Location, rooms, breakfast, owners, service, diners, pool it was all perfect. The only sound came from birds and other wildlife.
Make at least once use of by the owners prepared dinner. Romantic and good food!!

No air conditioning, and 1 of the fans didn't work and needed to be replaced. The driveway up to the site was in very poor condition, and caused problems for an underpowered hire car.

I had the pleasure of visiting Sovicille 1674 for a long birthday weekend with friends. Orsa and Fiore were the best ! They made us feel at home, were incredibly generous with their time, suggestions and attention and extremely helpful prior to and during the trip. We had a delightful birthday dinner prepared by Orsa and the most perfect prepared desert and charming service on the terrace with a great view of the grounds. The ambiance was perfect at the villa! Charming rooms, great grounds and serene pool (perfect for apertivo) Orsa went out of her way to make sure that we had the best Tuscan experience. Excellent recommendations, arranged tours and went above and beyond to meet our requests. We could not have asked for a better vacation. Thank you so much Orsa and Fiore!
Request a dinner prepared by Orsa or a cooking class! Take advantage of the vineyard nearby !

The whole experience was just wonderful. Orsa was so helpful, food was fantastic and facilities perfect. Views breathtaking. We really couldn't fault it.
Limited in number of places to eat out but Orsa can cook a meal on request.
We had a cookery lesson with Orsa which was so much fun and I learnt so much even though I rate myself as a good cook. Make sure you go to Montalcino - it's beautiful.

Entretien de la propriété, piscine Matériel fourni pour le petit déjeuner (appartement) Très bon accueil et pas envahissant Salle de jeux pour enfants, adolescents et parents... Architecture magnifique de l'ensemble.
Pas un seul, à l'unanimité pour toute la famille .
Très bon repas typique simple mais délicieux préparés par une des propriétaires qui donne aussi des cours de cuisine... Très bons conseils de visites de petits villages aux alentours À visiter : Murlo pour les amateurs d'art étrusque Sienne pour la ville et en été pour les courses du Palio (préférez plutôt les courses d'entraînement avec les jeunes enfants) À faire: les termes de Rapolano À boire les vins Toscans: Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino

Vynikajúco vybavený tak interiér ako aj externé priestory, ktoré sme mali neobmedzene k dispozícii. Perfektný bazén, aj keď boli na usadlosti viacerí hostia priestory sú tak luxusne veľké, že nikto nikoho nerušil. Výborná dovolenka, vrátime sa určite.
Absolútne žiaden negatívny komentár.
Boli sme 2 rodiny s malými deťmi, každý deň sme podnikali malé výlety do okolitých mestečiek známych aj menej známych. Tu si nájde zábavu naozaj každý, aj aktívny turista aj ten, kto si chce užiť pokoj, romantiku a luxus, ktorý toto miesto bezpochyby ponúka. Vrelo a zo srdca odporúčam. Ďakujeme Fiore & Orsa

- The location was amazing. Very quiet and with a relaxing view. - The room was very well renewed. Bathroom was gorgeous - Swimming pool - Wi-Fi on the swimming pool was much better than in the room. - The pets from the property
- Very low quality of breakfast. Very small variance of products (just some bread for toasting and 2 types of cereals). There was no eggs, or bacon, or fresh croissants, or any small pastry. The only home-made product was 3 small bowls of jam. - It was very hard to find it. The address given at the moment of booking didn't exist on the GPS. We had to ask around and someone told us we would need to go on an unpaved road for 1km or so. - The English level of most of the staff is quite bad which makes it difficult to communicate. - The Wi-Fi was very weak in the bedroom - The towels, sheets and room are only changed/cleaned upon request with an extra fee of 12€ per hour. - We struggled all 4 days to have warm water in the bathtub (there was no shower). It was swinging from very hot to very cold... or just cold. We complained about it, but it was not solved by the time we left.
There's a very good nearby restaurant, when entering Sovicille, that we totally recommend. Unfortunately I forgot the name.

Dear guest, thank you for your review. The name of the restaurant is probably La Compagnia: we also like it very much! About the breakfast we are sorry that it didn't satisfay you enough. Yes, usually we don't give eggs with bacon, it is not italian, but if the guests ask for fried, boiled eggs or omelette we are happy to cook for them. We prefer to give quality instead of quantity: daily fresh bread instead of industrial soft white bread, with homemade jam and butter instead of greasy croissant. Pecorino cheese or fresh ricotta and prosciutto toscano, tomatoes with our organic extra virgin olive oil are also always present. And, of course, yogourt, cereals, fresh friut, orange juce....Nutella just when we have guests with children!

I really enjoyed the stay at this agriturismo. I had the room with wonderful view and swimming pool was great. All the staff was very helpful and the breakfast and dinner was good. I wish i can stay there again. The place enhanced quality of my holiday.
I tried to use the swimming pool last day in the morning at 7:30 because it supposed to be ready at 7. But the pool was not ready at that time.
