“Cozy, Rustic Atmosphere Off the Beaten Path Yet Close to San Gimignano”

Cozy, three bedroom farmhouse with helpful host. Owners made their own wine and we bought a bottle each of white and red, and it was delicious. It was rainy and cold when we arrived and we built a fire in the fireplace which was a nice touch (owners provided dry firewood and kindling for an additional 5 euros). We also opted not to go out for dinner and cooked our own meals in the kitchen which was adequate for making pasta one night and steak the next. A grocery store was close by in San Gimignano. When the clouds lifted the 2nd day the view was wonderful.

Two cute dogs greeted us when we arrived, but they jumped up on us. Normally I don't mind it but their paws were really muddy and they got our clothes dirty, which was not good since we were traveling light The family in the unit below had a crying baby which caused one member of our party to lose some sleep one night. The front dolor was very difficult to lock so we gave up and just locked the shutter door when we left for the day, though I really wasn't worried about security that much.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire. Le gîte est confortable et la cuisine est bien équipée, on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Le lit est confortable.

Il manque des étagères et des parterres pour ranger et accrocher les vêtements.

“Sublime séjour dans un cadre magnifique très proche de San Gimignano”

Superbe Séjour d'une semaine. Theresa étant en vacances, nous avons été accueillis par sa cousine Elisa ainsi que Rosa et Guiseppe qui vivent sur places et leur deux petits chiens. Seulement à 10 minutes en voiture de San Gimignano, le cadre est vraiment idyllique, on emprunte un sentier en longeant les oliviers pour rejoindre la location avec une vue lointaine sur San Gimignano. Les propriétaires habitent une grande maison centrale et la dépendance est à 30 mètres, ce qui préserve l'intimité si l'on veut se reposer à tout moment. La localisation est parfaite pour rejoindre Sienne / Florence / Pise / Volterra etc... et le panorama proche de la location est superbe. Nous avons été surclassés lors du séjour :) et tout est présent dans le logement avec un grand lit 160cm. Grande terrasse avec table à manger et transat pour les repas en extérieur mais gare aux moustiques à cette période. Ce fut un réel plaisir de croiser Rosa, Guiseppe et Elisa en partant et rentrant de nos visites, nous avons pu avoir des conseils précieux et ils étaient toujours disponibles. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine et le cadre entre vignes et oliviers aide à vraiment s'imprégner du paysage.

Hormis la chaleur présente la nuit (Début septembre) et les moustiques il n'y a rien à redire. Il est à noter la présence de moustiquaires sur les fenêtres ce qui est très pratique pour ventiler sereinement.

Desayuno un poco justo

Les hôtes parfaits de gentillesse, simplicité et serviabilité. Une Grande chambre, confortable, d'une parfaite propreté et un merveilleux point de vue sur la campagne toscane et les tours de San Gimignano. Petit déjeuner délicieux.

Peut-on dire aucun ?

Bien lire sur le voucher les indications concernant l'accès au gîte, un peu à l'écart de la route, au sommet d'une colline ...ce qui en fait tout le charme !

Environnement magnifique, proche de lieux extraordinaires, propriètaires d'une gentillesse sincère. Chambre très propre et bien équipée.

Manque internet (toujours très utile pour voyager). Pas de restauration proche.

L'Italie est un pays très touristique (beaucoup trop); alors il est agréable de se retrouver dans un lieu tranquille et accueillant.

Excellent location, fantastic scenery. The hosts are approachable and welcoming, always happy to advise. Fully equipped kitchen. A table and a couple of chairs were provided for us outside. So we could have our meals in the evening enjoying the sunset and the incredible view.

The standard and level of comfort is more than expected.

None...but remember that the family is not bilingual.

The family is incredibly hospitable and will go out of their way to assist. Guiseppe makes great wine and olive oil which is for sale. Tri to book the downstairs apartment if you can. It's kitchen opens onto a patio with table and chairs and with lovely views.

Alojamiento con encanto, muy bien situado cerca de San Gimignano, punto de referencia para viajar por el Sur de La Toscana. El trato recibido por los propietarios es difícil de superar en cuánto a calidez, y hospitalidad. Desayunos caseros preparados por la mamma Rosa, con mermelada de mora negra preparada por ella, no lo cambiaría por el mejor desayuno del mejor hotel de 5 estrellas de La Toscana. Este verano me he enamorado de La Toscana, y de SAN GIMIGNANO 1038 , porque La Toscana no es para verlas, es para sentirla desde dentro!!

Ninguno. Evitar Agosto si puede ser, hace muchísimo calor.

Probad el vino casero que hacen los propietarios, es buenísimo! Acompañado de fiambres típicos de La Toscana y quesos que compreis en la zona, son una excelente opción para disfrutar de cena romántica al aire libre en la zona común de SAN GIMIGNANO 1038 , con vistas idílicas de pura Toscana!!!

El lugar muy bonito, la habitación muy comoda y agradable. Tuvimos muy buena relación con los propieatarios, son gente muy amable, a pesar de que no hablamos italiano nos pudmos comunicar con ellos.

Estuvimos dos noches y no hubo limpieza del cuarto.

Italien er et dejligt land at besøge som turist. Italienerne er meget i mødekommende men taler desværre ikke ret meget engelsk.

TV og opvaskemaskine virkede ikke og blev ikke ordnet i løbet af ugen.

Tag til Toscana. Tag cykel og vandrestøvler med. Besøg de dejlige madsteder og oplev den toscanske mad. Agriturismo kan give nogle gode oplevelser.

Kellemes környezet, stratégiailag nagyon jó fekvés (csillagtúrákkal minden fontos toscánai célpont elérhető), kedves háziak, kényelem, tisztaság

nincsen igazán, talán a kinti grillezési lehetőség hiánya?

Feltétlenül kostóljátok meg a háziak fehér borát és én ilyen ízletes finom olivaolajat még nem ettem.

“Beautiful nature surrounded by vineyards. Not far from San Gimmignano (caa.5 km). The apartment is away from the main road and has a beautiful view. A simple, very clean and tidy apartment with garden. Near the old farm where live the owners parents.”

We were very satisfied with accommodation. The price was very good. Location next to San Gimignano is excellent. Pool did not miss because we were there in the end of April.

We do not have any negative opinions.

I recommend a visit to San Gimignano and Volterra in the late afternoon, when there is no much tourists. When you planning a visit and you want eat in restaurants, and try some traditionaly food, this is possible only during lunch or dinner time.

We were offered wine, olive oil and fruit directly from the farm - great hospitality.

A puzzling pool of water on the kitchen floor after a night of rain.

Central, good location with easy access to San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, Siena and the Chianti region and more. Ask the owners to prepare a meal and serve it up restaurant style on the patio.

Friendly, homely yet private and with all required amenities. Produce their own wine, fruit and vegetables.

Owner sometimes not there, leaving management in the hands of her very friendly and helpful mother. However, language becomes a problem.

Do have breakfast at the main house and enjoy their wines! Both are good!

One evening the owners came to our kitchen with Vino Santo and biscuits, local specialities, and we had a very nice chat in our rather bad Italian, but they really tried to understand. We were shown the Olive oil press and bought some of oil and some of the wine.
