Lieve gastvrouw en een warm en hartelijk welkom. Altijd mogelijk om iets te vragen en ze zal je proberen te helpen. Locatie is perfect om van alles te ondernemen: de bergen ingaan, villa’s bezoeken of Lucca bezichtigen.

Het dorpje Segromigno is erg klein en heeft niet heel veel bezienswaardigheden. Wel een prima supermarkt en wat eettentjes. Verder niet veel bijzonders.

“Que de gentillesse !”

5 étoiles largement méritées tant la gentillesse et la serviabilité des hôtes est immense. Le tout est servi dans un écrin de calme et de typicité. Ne ratez pas la cuisine Toscane préparée sur place avec les produits locaux, tout simplement délicieux.

C'est peut-être voulu mais le manque couvert oblige à faire tourner le lave-vaisselle plus souvent. que nécessaire

“Très agréable appartement et immense espace vert autour (oliveraie et pré) pour les enfants. Petites promenades possibles alentours en partant directement de la maison. Propriétaires très sympathiques, serviables et excellents cuisiniers!”

Pièces sombres:lumières allumées en permanence comme sur les photos Mur de 5mètres de haut en face de l'entrée Voir photo intitulée jardin (avec les escaliers d'entrée) Le jardin privatif se trouve à 30 mètres et est aussi privatif qu'un jardin public Il ne s'agit pas d'une maison d'hôtes,les proprios n'habitant pas sur place Pas de resto comme pourtant indiqué

Notre critère principal de sélection était la présence d'un resto.Or il n'y en a pas.Ni de dégustation de quoi que ce soit .D'oû très forte déception.

Mais nous souhaitons vous expliquer que nous avons le Restaurant mais il faut de réserver deux jours avant. Je vous avait dit que si vous le souhaitiez, j'aurais préparé le diner pour vous.Le lumieres à l'exterieur le soir sont allumés jusqu'à minuit. Le jardin est trés grand et il n'y a pas des escaliers...Merci, Bien cordialement

“Ruhe pur”

Sehr ruhige und gemütliche Unterkunft mit super freundlichen und netten Gastgebern. Sowohl das Appartment als auch der Garten laden zum Entspannen ein. Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten nach Lucca, ans Meer, in die Berge. Sehr gut für Kinder, die im großen Garten und Olivenhain ungestört spielen können.

“Wonderfull surprise”

The house is comfortable and cosy, the garden and souroundings are beautifull. Giovanna is extremely nice and full of ressources.

Internet connection, when it was eventually working, was extremely slow. Some people might find the bed too hard. I was desappointed by the dinner. The weather was humid and cold but since it was only early october I had to pay extra for getting the heating.

Walk, bike or drive along the wineyard road.

“What a lovely place!”

The owners are charming, helpful, great cooks! Ask for something and they will do wathever is possible to help. I liked the kitchen in the appartment with all the commodities. We even had a high chair and a crib for the little one. The oldest had fun watching the hens and the goats, and he liked picking fruits in the trees. The beach is close enougn and Lucca is a great city to hang around.

Execpt for the internet connection, none!

Very difficult to find the home. Need to have better directions and a sign or signs on the driveway entrance and local main roads.

“Très bel endroit”

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en Toscane. Nous avons été très bien accueilis par Giovana et Franco qui sont vraiment adorables. L'appartement est très spacieux et confortable, bien équipé et joliment décoré. La propriété autour très grande et parfait pour que les adultes se reposent et que les enfants jouent. Le repas pris sur place était délicieux : adultes et enfants se sont régalés et pour une de nos filles cela reste le meilleur repas qu'elle a jamais mangé. Le jacuzzi est assez grand pour que nous avons pu nous rafraîchir tous les cinq. Merci encore !

- bien situé par rapport aux villes touristiques : Lucques, Pise, Sienne, Chianti, 5 terres pour excursion....et à la mer - décoration gîte avec goût, grand, bien équipé : laverie....aux abords impeccables : oliviers, cyprès... - propriétaire sympathique parlant français, disposée à donner des conseils, avec des petites attentions

- connection internet pas toujours fiable - pas de climatisation en pleine chaleur pourrait être un plus

“Estancia en Julio 2.015 - Apartamento MIMI”

Espaciosa, entorno muy agradable, tranquilo, buen equipamiento, buen estado de la vivienda y de los equipamientos, jacuzzy agradable.

A cada hora de la noche se escucha el campanario de la Iglesia. Ruido y luces de los movimientos de vehículos a pié de fachada. Wifi de mala calidad.

Una piscina en los jardines sería ideal. La posibilidad de incorporar desayuno en los jardines sería muy agradable. Se hace necesario alejar el tráfico de vehículos de las habitaciones con un parking más alejado dado el ruido que producen los neumáticos con la grava del pavimento. Adicionalmente las luces de los vehículos inciden directamente los dormitorios.

Great olive oil and cookies for our welcome package. The spice cabinet was well stocked, and we left our leftover syrup for the next guests. Good advice on where to get laundry done, since there is only a washing machine there, and we were not allowed to drip dry our clothes outside in the sun. Others in our party really enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for storage in the kitchen and in the bedrooms.

See above. Also, even though there is an oven, there were no cooking items that could be used in the oven. Baking pans and some storage bowls would be helpful to have in an apartment where cooking is available.

We took a great drive into the mountains to the north. Great views and good food.

My husband and I go everyday to the agritourism, especially if we have guests to welcome and help for any reason; it happens, as it is normal to be, that often we don't find them at home because they are out for visits and trips around this area, rich of beautiful towns and views. We therefore prefer not to disturb them once they come back late to the agritourism, unless they call us in case of need.I remember to have received one call from you but, since I found you at home, we succeeded in solving directly the problem of the towels you kindly requested by message.At your arrival, as I am used to do with my guests, I tried to give you all the possible info about what to do and what to see in this area (shops nearby etc..), also through our brochures which you guaranteed to check, being on hand for further and more detailed info in case of need. I remember that in this occasion, your priority was where to enjoy an amazing dinner, therefore I gave you my suggestion for a restaurant that I am very happy to read you particularly appreciated.Regarding to the kitchen of your apartment, if the pots at your disposal there were not enough, I would have been very pleased to satisfy your possible requests.In the matter of the possibility to drip dry your clothes outside in the sun, there must have been a misunderstanding: here you can use clothes dryer when you want, probably I suggested you to be careful with the weather of those days, rather rainy I remember.I am also working in order to provide a better wifi service, hoping for an excellent internet connection for my guests.I really would like to have another occasion to welcome you, hoping to succeed in making you spend a more satisfying stay at our agritourism. “Best experience we had in Italy”

Beautiful surroundings. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Franco gave us a warm welcome and explained how all the appliances work. Franco and Giovanna were the perfect hosts. The dinner they prepared with so much love and attention to detail, was the best dining experience we had in Italy. When one of our friends got lost in Lucca, Giovanna even drove all the way to town to assist us. The jacuzzi was a welcome relief after long days of exploring the beautiful Lucca, Cinque Terre and Firenze. All these towns are easily accessible from Lucca's train station. A truly authentic Italian experience.

Allow enough time to spend in Lucca. Rent a bicycle for a ride along the walls of Lucca. Take the train to Cinque Terre.

Only negatives are very small. Wifi was spotty. Didn't work at night. Shower is small. Very minor considering how nice the cottage is.

“Wonderful place to stay. Quiet. Safe. Beautiful. Lovely.”

Lovely home. spacious. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Kitchen was very nice. Having laundry was really convenient. Parking on site. Close to many things. Great place to stay.

“2 jours à Segromigno in Monte 1599”

Nous avons passé 2 très belles journée à Segromigno in Monte. L'accueil était magnifique, le lieu parfait pour les enfants qui revenaient de promenade avec hâte pour retrouver jardin et jaccuzi. Nous nous sommes régalés. Hâte de revenir.

“Great location, great owners!”

We loved staying in this house. The decor was really nice, and it was enough space for our 1 year old to run around in. They have some geese and goats to visit as well. The owners were very helpful and kind and it was a super easy drive to Lucca.

“ Segromigno in Monte 1599 A fantastic place to be.”

Owners Giovanna and Franco were very kind and helpful, especially leaving a welcome basket with local grown produce. Set in Olive groves it was beautiful surroundings to eat breakfast, listen to the church bells chime and the birds sing, perfect surroundings for the start of a perfect day. The hot tub was great to use at the end of a long day.

The only negative was that our holiday was too short!!! There were no negative aspects with Segromigno in Monte. We arrived quite late at night, and it took a little while to find the accommodation due to a road closure, luckily we did have a Sat Nav.

Giovanna gave us lots of ideas and helpful information such as where to catch the train to Florence, and going to Pisa without having to pay for car parking. I would strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a clean, friendly base to explore Northern Tuscany.

“We could not have asked for more - delightful accommodation and extremly helpful and friendly staff (Giovana and Franko) for whom nothing was too much trouble.”

Anyone staying here must try Giovana's 'Tasting Meal' but remember that its 8 courses, and includes wine - a feast not to be missed, at an amazingly small price.

There was nothing negative about this well equipped accomodation, and its location. We were delighted, and will be saying so on Trip Advisor.

This is an excellent place for trips to the usual tourest centres. However, a short drive south into the Chianti region will provide quiet if twisty roads, and delightful villages to escape the crowds of Florence, Sienna etc. You should try 'the roads less travelled'and get to see real Tuscany. And whatever you do don't miss Villa Reale if you love Italian gardens and houses, and are a fan of Monty Don!

IL FAUT ALLER : LA PIZZERIA DU VILLAGE DE QUALITE ET LES DESSERTS EXCEPTIONNELS ET JE SUIS DIFFICILE. LE GLACIER EST DE QUALITE AUSSI LE VIN DE TOSCANE "San Pietro" je sais plus au juste mais il est vendu sur la propriété est très bon mais vous allez avoir un panier d'accueil qui va vous attendre sur la table de l'appartement avec une bouteille dedans. Notre appartement était très propre, restauré avec beaucoup de gout. BIEN VOUS FAIRE EXPLIQUER LA ROUTE, quand on connait c'est facile, mais lorsqu'on connait pas pour arriver à la propriété, c'est un peu compliqué car une route a été fermée à la circulation. En mai si vous aimez les roses, c'est magnifique !!! Ah oui surtout commandez une soirée dégustation aux hôtes.

“Un accueil chaleureux”

Une hotesse charmante ...un vin de qualité ... Un jacousi agréable apres les chaleurs du jour ...

Difficile à trouver sans GPS ..et mise à jour très récente... un plan envoyé aux hotes avec les routes et le trajet optimal serait indispensable .. certaines rues sont coupées quasi définitivement ce qui rend le plan indispensable. Les prises électriques libres sont trop peu nombreuses La terrasse n'est pas auusi proche de l'appartement que l'on pouvait se l'imaginer..

Le vin blanc est très agréable ..et supporte le transport ... Les commerces ne sont pas rapidement accessibles à pieds ..prévoir quelques achats avant l'arrivée. On regrette l'absence d'une piscine; on profiterait encore mieux du calme du jardin, vaste, fleuri et très bien entretenu ... espaces plats où les enfants peuvent s'amuser sans risque ..l'ensemble est très en retrait de toutes rues passantes ..

“Everything I wanted Tuscany to be-and more! ”

I could not fault anything from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Beautiful accomodation. Wonderful surroundings. A superb place to use as a base for exploring Tuscany. The owners were so friendly & helpful.

The only negative thing I could think of was that we had to leave this idyllic location at the end of our location.

We wanted to go to the beach and The owner recommended Torre Del Lago. 50 minutes drive and we were in paradise. Stunning beach, lush forests and mountain views. The beach was empty. It was a beautiful day in October, kids in the sea and I snoozed in the sun. Pisa was an hour way, Florence was about an hour and a half. Volterra (you must Google it and then go) was 2 hours. I enjoyed driving in Tuscany. It was so relaxing with very little traffic. No one was in a rush to get anywhere. The landscape & scenery was breathtaking. I have never said I would go back to the same place for a holiday but I would make an exception here. Giovanna & Franco were the perfect hosts and they own a little piece of heaven in Segromigno in Monte 1599. A welcome basket awaited us, A hot tub/jacuzzi we used every evening. Try their olives-gorgeous. Go there! You will not be disappointed. Thank you G &F.

“Owners was very friendly and place was very clean. We were given a big basket of food when we arrive and she was there whenever we had questions. They were really the most friendly people that I have ever come across in Europe.”

I was phoning for a taxi nr and then she drove us all the way to town. I also liked the hot tub as well as the welcome basket.

On the website it says that there will be free wifi. However there was no internet. I do not blame the owner. I just think it must be pointed out that there is no wifi on the website.

“Our goals for the holiday was meet. Lucca, Firenze, Pisa, Chianti wine area, italian food and the beach.Segromigno in Monte 1599 was perfectly located in the middle of all this. Appartment was perfect for us, a family of 4 adults and surroundings was”

Service from the host was excelent and we got a warm welcome with all necessary information. The host Giovanna and Franco is two beautiful, nice people, which only want the best for us in a discreet way and they gave us good advices. The appartment was comfortaby and ventilated in the absence of aircondition. We also got double set of towels and a nice welcome basket with some of the best wine and olive oil I have tasted.

I have positive experience by have an early morning walk in the sun rise from the appartment and up to Valgiano, San Pietro Marcigliano and Camigliano in beautiful surroundings with smell of grapes and herbs and flowers. With some few Italian words you will be meet by friendly and gesticulated Italians. We have lunch at the places we visited at daytime , but dinner mostly in the nabourhood of the appartment. Giomo and Le Colonne was a must with typical local specialities. A wisit to villages like Montecarlo for food and wine and Montecatini Alto for atmosphere and view and charme. And of cause Lucca with Piazza Amfiteatro and nearby shopping streets. Lucca has also a well of nice cafe's and restaurants.

Aucun points négatifs, tout était parfait.

Les propriétaires donnent de bons conseils sur les sorties à faire dans la région. Super petit restaurant à Lucca indiqué par les propriétaires : "Paris Bohème, Piazza Cittadella, 6 - Lucca (voir le site sur internet). Aller à Florence c'est très facile de s'y rendre par les nombreux trains depuis Pistoia, où Lucca, vous éviterez les embouteillages et les problème de stationnemnt.

The private garden in the olive orchard was special, for a barbeque, a sundowner or just to relax. Giovanna and Franco are lovely people

Make sure you go to a community function in Segromigno in Monte town. We went to a festival where everybody danced and relaxed, it was special. Giovanna will direct you to spectacular placed to visit nearby, it is a beautiful area

“Beautiful and Relaxing”

The accomodations were wonderful-everything was super clean and very well designed. Giovanna was warm and welcomed us with wonderful gifts of olive oil (from the property), honey and jam.

We went to the Tordello Festival at the nearby church and it was a highlight of our trip!

“True Toscan”

The accommodation was beatiful - true Tuscan. There was complete domestic equipment, dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen tableware, other household items, books, magazines, picture books ... On the table were Italian products - fruit, jam, honey, olive oil and wine. There is a large garden.

The problem is to find the house because in Tuscany is home marking complicated, and this house is not on the main road. We phoned landlady, she navigated us. She knows English.

Suitable for romantics and tourists who love nature

From the moment we arrived, we were greated with smiles and great attention from our hosts. The apartment was absolutely perfect. It is decorated beautifully and appointed with every possible need. Having a front load washing machine available for free was a nice bonus. The kitchen was complete with every need provided. Dishes, pans, and pots were all new and high quality. Even a high quality dishwasher was provided. The grounds are groomed and beautiful with vinyards and orchards and cute country pigmy goates to pet in their fenced-off forest area. Wine was being made on the grounds and the olive grove is used to make their own delicious brand of olive oil. A wonderful taste of Tuscany!

Honestly, we cannot think of one thing. Not one negative comment.

Book it! Come to this villa. It is beautiful, relaxing, and 100% Tuscany. They even have a new hot tub and deck that we enjoyed one romantic evening under the Tuscan moon. This was a tremendous value. So much for so little. My wife did not want to leave. It was a tender moment for both Giovanna and my wife when we had to go. They could hardly say goodbye.

“lovely”

the lovely owner. She was very welcoming. We only stayed 2 nights, but it was a lovely place.

Unfortunately it was snowing, which was beautiful, but didn't allow us to enjoy the garden.

Lucca is about a 10min drive, once inside it is a maze and can be a bit tricky to know where to park, however the owner will help you out.
