Kamers zijn een beetje gedateerd en de schoonmaak kan beter Servies precies afgestemd op aantal personen dit mag wel iets ruimer zijn Waterkoker om thee te zetten zou een pluspunt zijn Airco ontbreekt maar dit hebben we niet gemist omdat we zelf een ventilator hadden meegenomen

Lovely surroundings, perfect pool for smaller children and great apartments with space for a family. Ideal Tuscan location, easily reachable and near attractions. Local village of Certaldo is lovely!

Poor wifi, only had service near the reception. The restaurant opens for dinner at 7.30 pm, which was too late for our younger children. The kitchen was fine for cooking, but pots and pans could be updated and also it would be great with more cooking gear, e.g. a peeler, more knives, etc.

Beautiful environment preserved, pretty typical decoration, ideal situation to discover Tuscany. warm and friendly welcome. The team is very caring. Wi-Fi connection limited to reception, excellent for people looking for digital disconnection. I recommend.

personnel aimable et accueillant (merci à Francesco et Mia pour leurs sourires et leur bonne humeur),bonne restauration, cadre très agréable et adapté pour les enfants (petite piscine, chevaux, ...), appartement suffisamment spacieux, agritourisme bien situé (isolé au calme, au milieu des collines toscanes et non loin de la ville et des sites touristiques)

- propreté de l'appartement : toiles d'araignée et taches de moustiques écrasés et pas d'entretien ni de changement de literie sur les 9 jours passés à Certaldo - connexion wifi très difficile sur le site et impossible depuis l'appartement - ne parle pas français pourtant mentionné comme langue parlée

Très bon séjour hormis quelques petits points négatifs peu importants. Si vous aimez les chevaux, la campagne toscane et la dolce vita : bienvenue à Certaldo !

“Ok mais management moyen et appartement très spartiate... ”

La patogeoire à côté de la piscine, proximité des lieux et villes culturels à visiter, proche de la vieille ville de certaldo très jolie et excellents restos!

Propreté de la piscine laisse à désirer, le restaurant présent est très cher et franchement pas bon ( "pâtes fraîches maison et légumes de saison", pas fraîche ni fait ni fait maison et légumes de saison étaient des légumes surgelés d hiver et ultra sales!), logement pas nettoyé sur 2 semaines de séjour, pas assez de vaisselle, douche pas du tout pratique (robinetterie à l extérieur de la douche, donc inondation de la sdd), plein de mouches à cause des chevaux.

Les vacances étaient malgré tout excellentes car nous avons une bonne capacité d adaptation et on prenait tous les côtés négatifs à la rigolade, mais nous ne recommanderions pas ce lieux à des amis.

La chimenea de la sala inferior no evacúa los humos, y cuando se usa el humo invade todo el restaurante.

Si os alojáis en media pensión, lo mejor es dejar al chef que os cocine por sorpresa. Nosotros lo hicimos y cada noche nos deleitaba con algo diferente, exquisito y de muy buena calidad. Nos cocinó todas sus especialidades.

There is no panoramic view from the room, but you can get to the top of the hill with good view within 10 minutes. It was a little bit noisy in the morning due to the road. There was no balcony in our room.

Price for an extra bed (5 instead of 4 persons in appartment) is relatively high. Stay is obligatory from saturday to saturday, little flexibility in choosing period of stay

We recommend the (wedneysday) evening with western riding and tuscany buffet. You can travel by train from Certaldo to Firenze. Make in time/before depart an appointment to visit the Gori collection near Pistoia

Faites le tour du centre équestre à pier et vous aurez une vue sur San Gimignano. Profitez de la situation géographique pour visiter San Gimignano, volterra, le Chianti, sienne, florence. Tout est à moins de 50 kms.

“Certaldo 1847 is definately not set up for the summer weather as there is no AC in the rooms & not even a fan so it becomes crazy hot in the rooms & makes sleeping very difficult even with all the windows open.”

Great location & the unheated swimming pool was a bonus to cool down in, also the horse riding is great for the kids

Again no AC or Fans in the rooms so definately avoid this place during the high summer.

Commentaire du propriétaire Dear Mr. Taylor, from mid July to August the temperatures in Italy are very high and we haven't air conditioning: it's not hidden. Properties with air conditioning are more expensive than us, so I think it's just a personal choice. We have fans, but you have to ask for them at the reception. Hope anyway you had a good stay. 1. The nicest pool we could have found. We enjoyed it a lot. 2. The horses that were friendly and so beautiful! 3. Being close to the train station.

1. No mosquitos screan. No air conditionning. It was so hot and opening the windows was impossible as there were too many mosquitos. 2. The owner was there but was not talking to her hosts. Owners from other agriturismo were more friendly.

Visit the ''old Certaldo''. Use the train to visit Firenze.

Appartement très fonctionnel avec terrasse. Très propre. Décor carte postale.

Très bruyant car mal isolé (bruits voisins étages supérieurs).Connexion internet aléatoire et réseau téléphonique irrégulier.

Le séjour que nous avons effectué à Certaldo était notre 1er séjour en Toscane. Nous avions choisi cette localité pour sa position stratégique, situé entre Pise Sienne et Florence. Certaldo possède en plus une gare qui permet de joindre très facilement, à moindre coup et très rapidement ces principales villes. Nous sommes très contents de notre choix.

Peaceful and calm holiday and a beautiful complex

internet connection not available due to local supplier problems.

It was a great and relaxing week for our family at this place. we've enjoyed the lovely complex and the large swimming pool as well as the great restaurant.

Bel ensemble (ferme equestre ancienne) avec un jardin agréable et une grande piscine. Très propre et entretenu, service de restauration sur place, grande terrasse avec l'appartement. Bonne disponibilité du personnel

pas de points en particulier

Prévoir une petite randonnées dans les collines autour de la Certaldo 1847 avec coucher de soleil au sommet d'une colline. Ne pas oublier de visiter la vieille ville de Certaldo toute proche et plein de charme

The flat was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Extra-ordinary views from every window.

The stairs kept us fit. Four flights of stairs. Better not forget anything in the car.

It is a very special place for people who are looking for an familial surroundings.

Is nothing disappointing in this place.

The Italian kitchen made by Mama in the kitchen is the best you can have. So do not go to look elsewhere, just enjoy what is served.

Très bien situé pour visiter la Toscane en voiture Appartement rénové avec goût, très spacieux Très belle piscine A conseiller pour les personnes aimant les chevaux

Un lave-vaisselle aurait été apprécié dans notre appartement 5 personnes.

Visites de Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo Alto, Sienne ... Le restaurant est à conseiller, ainsi que le chianti de la propriété !

Dejlig stor pool, skøn italiensk aften med buffet og band. Skønne omgivelser, flot ejendom. Fin lille restanrant på stedet, -dog ikke den største kulinariske oplevelse, men helt ok.

Meget børne-venligt sted, -hvilket naturligvis gør at mange børnefamilien vælger dette sted. Altså skal man ikke som par uden børn komme dette sted. Det burde stå i beskrivelsen af stedet. Der var "børne-fest" = meget larm, hver eneste dag ved poolen. For lidt ligge-stole ved poolen gjorde at man ofte måtte ligge i græsset.

La struttura è molto curata ed immersa nello splendido scenario bucolico toscano ma in 5 minuti si può raggiungere il centro di Certaldo, cittadina con tutti i servizi.

E' un agriturismo - residence e non un hotel ma una maggiore presenza di personale alla reception è raccomandabile, abbiamo avuto la necessità di spedire un fax con urgenza e nessuno era in grado di farlo.

Il posto è senz'altro da raccomandare a tutti coloro che vogliono una struttura "non invasiva", il personale non è assillante e permette di trascorrere giorni molto rilassanti. Lo spazio verde e la piscina sono realmente come si vede nelle foto. Avere, nel raggio di 100km tutte le principali bellezze della Toscana (chianti, pisa, firenze, siena) è un innegabile vantaggio

Appartment was just right for two people. Lovely big bed. Plenty of storage space. Great to lounge by swimming pool, and swim when it got too hot.

Outside our appartment there was no permanent patio with table and chairs to have breakfast and other meals, as there was with most other appartments. However, we used a table from the shared outside area and that was fine.

Once a week there was an evening of food and entertainment, when we had typical food from the region and were entertained by musicians and singers. (Even the owner sang!) It was well worth going as we met other people from different countries who were staying at Canonica, and had a very enjoyable evening.

The apartments were all individual and lovely. The restaurant is excellent serving wonderful Tuscan cuisine.

Umbrellas for shading around the pool would be useful.

Use the train from Certaldo to get to Florence and Sienna, it's much easier than driving.

Très bien situé dans un décor enchanteur: permet de faire du rayonnement dans les beaux villages et villes des environs. Excellent restaurant pas trop dispendieux (quand on ne veut pas cuisiner soi-même dans l'appartement). Très bel endroit pour relaxer sur place. Le personnel et le propriétaires sont très affables et courtois. Possibilité de faire de l'équitation sur place.

Un seul conseil: j'y retournerais n'importe quand.

Be sure to try the owner's wines produced on site. The restaurant is exceptional particularly the Florentina beef
