Le gîte est très propre, bien situé pour rayonner aux alentours, au calme et dans un très bel environnement. Les hôtes sont adorables. La piscine est grande et agréable. Les moustiquaires aux fenêtres sont très pratiques! Le gîte est simple et fonctionnel.

Le lit principal est confortable mais le canapé lit et le lit d'appoint le sont moins.

Het ontbijt was minimaal Croissants en broodjes waren op. Werd niet aangevuld. Uiteindelijk nog 1 croissantje gehad. Koffie en thee moesten we om vragen anders hadden we dit niet gekregen

“Sehr zu empfehlen”

Schöne großzügige Wohnung, netter Pool, ausgezeichnete Lage, viel Ruhe, viele Urlaubsziele innerhalb einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar, supernette Vermieter. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern verlief perfekt, es wurde auf alles eingegangen, Fragen sofort beantwortet, und besonders Anna hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert und uns versorgt. Unser Hund wurde genauso herzlich empfangen, auch dies war völlig problemlos. Es lohnt sich, in der Brauerei vorbeizugehen, das Bier schmeckt köstlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles.

Das W-Lan ist nicht besonders gut aber ausreichend.

“Séjour de rêve dans un cadre magnifique”

Nous avons passé quelques jours entre amies. La maison est très confortable, située dans un lieu magnifique, au calme. La piscine très propre, le jardin très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et extrêmement accueillants. Ils parlent Français et nous ont conseillé des adresses de restaurant ou glacier de très bon goût.

Pas grand chose à reprocher... juste quelques détails pour atteindre la perfection? Peut-être une trop petite cafetière pour un logement prévu pour 6 personnes et une étagère pour poser le savon dans la douche?

Commentaire du propriétaire I'm so sad when I recive a not very excellent review (fortunately it happened very few times, but it's sad for me because I'd like all the guests have a good experience). There isn't so much litght in the kitchen, it's true, maybe we have to add some liths more. I don't agree about ''few and poor material in the kitchen''. It's an holiday home and there's enough material for a holiday home kitchen. Value fo money : sufficient...... I definitely don't agree!! You payed an holiday with 15% discounted , reserving for 3 person when, indeed, you was 3 person un baby and your friend added in the middle of the holiday with a very special price....

Ubicación, entorno, instalaciones en general.

Wi-fi no funcionaba correctamente, solo a veces y de manera intermitente. En la descripción de la piscina pone que hay hidromasaje y si que hay un espació determinado ello però sin funcionar. El sofà camà tiene un colchón muy fino e incomodo. en la habitación de matrimonio hay poca luz y encima una de las luces és directamente una bombilla,lo que és muy incomodo para leer por la noche y para ver, por ejemplo, lo que hay en el armario.

Muy buen lugar para pasar unas vacaciones, ya que es sumamente tranquilo, eso si, sin excesivas comodidades ni lujos. Lo mejor, las vistas desde la terraza y el rincón de la piscina.

Commentaire du propriétaire For the idro massage corner I'm sorry. This year the Tuscany's normative for the swimming pool has become too severe and for security reason, we decided to turn off the idro massage. I should have to cancel the service from the description, I'm sorry. About the sofa-bed, it isn't very confortable, only for children. It's the reason why, we decided to change it for the next season. Thank you for your suggestions, I'm happy you had a relaxed holiday and you have judged me excellent.

“Adresse à retenir sans hésitation!”

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Katia et Fernando ainsi que par leur famille, un grand merci à tous! Ils sont tous extrêmement chaleureux, ils n'hésitent pas à donner de nombreux conseils de visites, et de nombreuses informations. Nous avons appréciés nos discussions à moitié en anglais, italien, français (entre autres avec Anna!), mais également la possibilité de profiter du potager (les délicieuses tomates!), sans oublier la piscine. Nous reviendrons !! Grazie mille per tutti!

Location très bien située pour visiter les principaux sites de la Toscane (Sienne, Pise, Florence...) mais à visiter impérativement les villages de Volterra, San Gimignano... Ne pas hésiter à goûter les vins qui sont très bons.

Our main intention is to make the guest feel at home!The apartment Ginestra is located about 60 meters from a secondary road. It's the first time that I hear from a guest that this road is noisy: daytime pass a car every 5/10 minutes, the night doesn't pass anyone. One of the qualities of agriturismo Volterra 814 and, in general, of our whole area, it's tranquility. Anyway, you have defined your holiday at Volterra 814 relaxing, so I'm very happy and I hope you'll come again.

Friendliness of owner, it was perfect for a family holiday

Nothing negative at all but if I had to find one thing I thought could be improved that is the curtain under the kitchen sink, the fabric was frayed and it kept falling off, but that's the only thing I can think of!!!!

Everywhere in the area people were friendly, courteous and helpful except one hotel, the closest to the accommodation, we tried to eat there twice but the owner wasn't very accommodating,

Excellent accueil des propriétaires, grande disponibilité.

Un seul bémol :Manque de chaîne en Français (TV5 monde par exemple visible partout dans le monde)

La Toscane est une région magnifique. Ne pas manquer la visite de Volterra très proche et magnifique, avec un artisanat de grande qualité. Ne pas manquer le Palais Vitti, pour les amateurs de très belles demeures.

“When we arrived I couldn't believe how beautiful the area was and so quiet, Katia was very helpful and friendly, even offering me use of the second apartment when the sofa bed I was sleeping on wouldn't work. we were invited to have dinner with Kat”

Everything was great! being able to try the fresh tomato and vegetables, the pool looked very inviting despite it being covered when we were there. only a short drive to Volterra and San Gimignano and very close to Villa Magna. the area is so quiet and relaxing I could stay there forever!

Quiet place, beautiful surroundings, great region. We were invited to share a special Italian meal with our hosts, really something we didn't expect.

Maybe a little bit too far from certain places that we wanted to visit.

Lovely landscape, fully equipt kitchen, realxing pool, mountain bikes for free, grill outside, amazing ouners...

If you wanna have a nice relaxing vacation in the center of an amazing country with your GF or family then this is the place for you. Also for exploring the whole region (pisa, firenze, siena, chianti) not so far away, and doable with the car.

wheelchair friendly, clean, well equipped

modern agricultural storage building nearby, but not that was only a minor thing, did not detract from the house's nice position and surroundings

shop in the nearby village, come with friends and rent the whole house (3 apartments) for yourselves

“Séjour très agréable durant une petite semaine du mois de septembre 2008 dans la campagne toscane et au bord de la sympathique piscine.”

Accueil par la propriétaire elle-même qui n'a pas hésité à nous apporter un panier de figues fraîches ou une délicieuse pizza! Situation intéressante car sites assez proches (Volterra, San Gimignano ...)

Proximité de la route mais la maison est construite en retrait.

“The owners were amazing”

We got lost in the Tuscan countryside, en route from Rome, and a call for help from Villamagna after mid-night led to us being fetched and guided the last kilometer. One evening, Mama brought us a huge home-made pizza - for which we were unable to really thank her (our Italian was not too good...) Another evening we were invited to watch (and take part in...) a tug-o-war practice in the barn for the local team - which was doing duty that week in Volterra.Then we were shown a DVD of last year\\\'s action.

The only map we were sent gave directions from Pisa - but we were travelling from Rome, and therefore it did not help much. Also sign-posting in Tiscany was not very visitor-friendly.

Buy your daily provisions from the one full-to-the-ceiling bottega in Villamagna - you even get a commemorative post card from the owner with your purchases, and a friendly welcome.

I couldn't have asked for anything more for my stay in Tuscany. This is perfectly placed to visit the nearby towns, and was excellent value for money. The facilities were ideal, and the hospitality made me feel welcome, relaxed and at home.

Nothing negative comes to mind!

I would recommend a horse ride at a nearby stable - a great way to see the countryside. If you are invited to join the host's family at the farmhouse for pizza (the invitation will most probably be in Italian, and it involves making and eating the pizza) - SAY YES! For a more formal Tuscan cooking course, I would also recommend signing up for one of the many offered nearby. I went to Ecco La Cucina in Sienna - brilliant.

Behindertengerechte Wohnung im EG, freundlicher Empfang durch die Besitzer, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Hunde sind willkommen und kein Problem!

Alle wichtigen Städte sind leicht zu erreichen, das Meer ist ca. eine Stunde entfernt Im Ort ca. 10min zu Fuß bekommt man als Selbstversorger alles, was benötigt wird

“Nagyszerű és igazán felejthetetlen élmény volt az ott eltöltött egy hét. Azok, akik egy pihentető kikapcsolódásra vágynak csak ajánlani tudom.”

A szállás várakozásunkon felüli volt, a berendezés teljesen új volt és nagyon szép. A tulajdonosk is nagyon kedvesek voltak, annak ellenére, hogy nem igazán beszéltek angolul mindent meg tudtunk beszélni.

Talán annyi, hogy csak autóval elérhető.

San Gimignanot mindenképp érdemes megnézni!

Volterra is very close to this place and we found Volterra to be a very interesting and beautiful town, with excellent restaurants and shops.
