    “Excellent stay in the region of Volterra”

    We had a nice apartment/house. The rooms were big enough for 4 people and all the necessary facilities were present. It is nicely situated on the top of a hill with splendid views over the neighbouring hills and fields. It is easily accessible via a short dirt road. It is very calm and quiet. They also have a nice swimming pool to cool down after a hot day. Angela and her family are really nice. They treated us with local wine and salumi. It is a very good place to discover the area of Volterra (San Gimignano, Certaldo, Siena) but you can also reach easily Firenze, Pisa, the coast, the Chianti region, etc.

    The internet connection was not so good and can be improved. Especially teenagers need their smartphones and internet and could get frustrated when it does not work at the speed they would like.

    “Super vacances! A recommander”

    Grande appartement avec une cuisine bien équipée. Il reste bien frais à l'intérieur la nuit qui est très confortable. Les alentours sont merveilleux et on se trouve dans un calme absolu. La piscine est absolument top! et il y a plein de jouets pour les enfants pour jouer. Propriétaires super gentils qui nos ont donnés du bon vin et des fruits en abondance. Séjour génial.

    La maison est loin de tout donc il faut s'organiser pour faire ses courses au supermarché. (pas si grave)

    Wonderful location, very helpful and friendly family of owners, nice swimming pool with a 360° view on the surrounding fields and Volterra, lots of outdoor space, ...

    Hard to think of any - if there was something we needed Angela or her parents were there to find a solution.

    Take your time to talk with Luigi about his work, the farm and the sheep and follow his advice like we did, going to Pomarance for Di Vino Calice

    Accueil des proprietaires chaleureux;le logement est ideal pour une famille la piscine est tres agreable. Les produits locaux vendu par le proprietaire sont excelents. Pour resume nous avons passe un sejour tres agreable et reposant. En un mot nous conseillons.

    Calme, magnifique vue, belle piscine, propreté, bien placé par rapport aux villes touristiques

    Aucun si ce ne sont les mouches et les moustiques.

    A conseiller à tous ceux qui recherchent un endroit calme et reposant, avec une belle piscine dans un cadre enchanteur. Propriétaires sympathiques et discrets. Idéal pour deux couples avec enfants.

    “Cannot imagine a more peacefull environment and more friendly owners: a real agriturismo!”

    Excellent appartment (modern bathroom and equipped kitchen ) and at the same time it was authentic and "had a soul". We had our own entrance and terrasse to enjoy the view around the hill: only fields and nature! Perfect swimming pool. And the most important, very friendly owner passionate by his farm

    No dinner/lunch/breakfast at the moment of our stay, but not an issue for us as Volterra and supermarketd /restaurant are not very far by car

    “Toller Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung bei herzlichem Gastgeber”

    Angenehme Unterkunft in völlig ruhiger Natur, großartiges Essen, herzlicher Gastgeber, der trotz unserer Sprachschwierigkeiten viel über die Gegend und die Landwirtschaft/Weinbau vermittelt hat. Die Pizza und der Wein der Hausherren waren außerordentlich lecker. Wertvolle Hinweise für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Von der Unterkunft aus lassen sich in alle Richtungen Touren gut starten - auch zum Joggen sehr gut geeignet!

    Leider können wir kein italienisch, sonst hätten wir noch viel mehr über Weinanbau und -herstellung lernen können. Ein Auto ist leider unbedingt erforderlich.

    Die Nutella-Pizza in Volterra ist nicht nur ungewöhnlich, sondern auch noch lecker!!
