Our daughters, who slept in bedroom facing the pool, received no fewer than 25 insect bites in one night! There were also wasps that constantly flew in and out of the windows, causing our children some anxiety. Also, the septic system seems to have caused a long-lasting, foul odor in both the bathroom, and at times, in our daughters' bedroom. The internet connection did not work at all. The high speed train, running parallel to the house, (visible from the parents' bedroom) passed by very frequently, sounding like a jet plane, interrupting our sleep at times.

We choose this place because other reviews said the owner spoke English and was very helpful; turns out the owner is only there on weekends and, while very friendly, did not follow through on promised suggestions; the worker who was there during the week tried very hard but could not understand English; we also chose it because it had wifi but the wifi does not work inside, nor when it rains or for several hours afterwards. The beautifully appointed apartment was damp and cold with no wood for the working fireplace and it was the only place in Italy where bugs bit us during the night, every night.

L'entrée dans l'appartement est beaucoup trop tardive. Il y a une voie ferrée à l'horizon mais il n'y a aucune gêne avec le bruit.

None. It would be an idea to have a small welcome back of food eg tea,milk, water, small bowl of fruit on arrival.

There was no air conditioning available in our farmhouse despite being advertised. When we asked the owner, he gave us the run around and the finally admitted that he advertises it as air conditioned as it's what clients want, but advised us to 'open a window' instead.
