Isabella was very friendly and spoke English. The lodging was excellent and very relaxing. The grounds of the estate are full of olive trees with adjacent vineyards.

Lucca 1330, was everything we had hoped for, and more. The terrace/patio and gardens are gorgeous, as are the views. We were very happy to have such a fine spot to just unwind and relax. Sra Lida is a lovely yet unobtrusive presence at the property and we only regret that we didn't speak more Italian so that we could have learned more from her. Isabella and her husband are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely nice and went out of their way to ensure that we had internet service. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is an easy and quick drive to Lucca from the place. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace, going in to Lucca for walking and lunch at any of the very good restaurants there and coming home with ingredients for our dinner, also eaten on the terrace. All in all, the perfect place to be.

Nice place with very nice oweners

La struttura è magnifica, molto caratteristica e l'arredamento e la qualità dell'alloggio sono molto curati. C'è una vista magnifica e un bellissimo giardino dove si può anche pranzare o fare colazione, più un grande prato in cui fare splendide passeggiate o rilassarsi al sole della Toscana.

Very friendly owners, big garden, peaceful place, close to Lucca (a wonderful pedestrian city), walking facilities, nice apartment, see at 40 min.

Isabella was very outgoing and helpful in giving us touring and restaurant suggestions. (She speaks english well.) Nonna Frida, who lives there, was also very friendly and willing to try answer any questions we had (she does not speak english and our italian is very limited), but, she left us feeling we had the place all to ourselves. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are more than adequate. There is plenty of space in the apartment. The patio is spectacular. There are laundry facilities in the basement and a clothes line behind the building.

The position of Lucca 1330 for our travells was excellent.

The apartment is a stunning conversion of an old wine/produce cellar, quite rustic and authentic, but now with all mod cons. Owner (doesn't speak English but her daughter does) went out of her way to make us comfortable and v friendly. We just loved it.

Everything. The owners could not be nicer, twice making dinner reservations for us where we were treated so well because of the owners. Our apartment in the farmhouse was as beautiful and comfortable as could be. We would have like to have stayed there a year!
